President: Donald P. Labriola II, P.E.
Labriola is president, founder, and chief engineer of QuickSilver Controls, Inc., is a renowned expert in servo controllers and motors, with a special focus on cost-effective motion control. Under his guidance, QuickSilver Controls, Inc. (QCI) has accomplished more significant advances in the field than any other motion control product manufacturer. Labriola earned his Master of Science degree in Electronics Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and is a longtime licensed California Professional Engineer. He has been granted nine U.S. patents, as well as multiple foreign patents. Labriola has published articles on the subject of innovative and cost-effective motion control in such publications as Motion System Design Magazine and Medical Design Magazine. QCI benefits from Labriola’s vast experience in medical systems engineering (over 20 years) and motion control of servo controllers and motors (over 28 years). Labriola started at Beckman Instruments (now Beckman Coulter) as a technician for internal UL/CSA/Conformance testing, eventually working up to Senior Staff Electronics and System Engineer.
